Spiritpaw was having no luck, she didn't even know the scent of hare, so instead she tried hunting her way. She sat down and thought. Hare's would need a place to hide from predators, so that's where I need to look. She stood back up and went a little farther on until she discovered a tree with some of its roots dug out so there was a little den under it. Spiritpaw could fit in the hole because of her small size so, she squeezed in quickly. The rabbit was surprised and tried to dig out the other way but she got to it before it dug to far.

Spiritpaw went back to her mentor, the hare was almost as big as her, not that she was that big. "I caught one!" She said.

"Reedsnap," Hawkpaw sighed, padding towards his mentor. "Can we start training or at least leave as much distance between me and that energetic apprentice over there? I can't believe that Eaglepaw likes her."
Splashpaw couldn't find her mentor.
After awhile, Eaglepaw could only catch two mice, a robin that flew in at the last minute of his hunt, and two rabbits. "I couldn't catch the squirrel, it refused to come down."
"Don't worry, you are a good hunter, not the best of course, but a passable one. You will feed the Clan for many moons alongside every other warrior and apprentice," Snowlight said.

"Yes!" Hawkpaw said silently and followed his mentor out of camp.
"Darkshadow! Darkshadow! Can we go training today? Can we?" Splashpaw said bouncing up and down, acting like she was still a new apprentice which was three moons ago. She stopped bouncing trying to be serious and said, "or I can do anything else you want me to do."
